Hey knowledgable 'breezers
I know somebody who is having great trouble getting travel insurance due to a diagnosed mental illness.
This person has not had any sort of "episode", nor hospitalisation for many years as they have medication and as such they are totally normal.
Thus I think it is pretty wrong that all insurers have said no. She'd be less of a risk to an insurer than d!ckhead young crew getting on the grog all over europe and so on.
Doe anyone know if there is an insurer who is a bit more open to such things? I guess they'd charge more due to this perceived "risk" but that is better than all the no's given so far

Might be worth speaking to one of the support organisations... They may be able to point you in the right direction.

Ring a broker, they will be able to place. There are a few conditions that are just not accepted though.
