It is out in the open in mainstream media so there is no need to shift this topic to
"Heavy Weather".

There is a link (sponsored by Google, the biggest information gatherers in the world) in the article that takes you to a page where you can register your opinion on internet regulation.

Do it or don't. I think "they" have our numbers anyway.

How does it go? "When men of good heart do nothing when evil is afoot, evil flourishes."

Parts of the internet will never be able to be regulated.

You just gotta know how to find 'em.

There are a lot of things in the mainstream media that belong in Heavy Weather. Politics, religion, chemtrails etc. all make it to mainstream media. We'll see how political it gets hey?

What ? you think it isn't regulated already ?

All this would mean is that it is regulated by unelected publically funded bureaucrats from Geneva instead of unelected corporate fatcats in Silicon Valley.

Either way they are watching your every move.

Except me, I am hooked up through a covert connection......(wait there is somebody at the door, I'll just get that - mmm looks like a couple of Jehovah witnesses in black suits with some sort of funny pen that has a red light.........

... connection lost

Whatever happened to Conroy's proxy server? Are we living with it now or did they decide to bin it?

Do with it what thee will. "Heavy Weather" seems like a convenient trash bin to me. I noted it's creation, had a look what was in there and have not been there since. I will have a look in there tonight to see if it has grown or matured.

The reason for my posting this topic is that it came up on mail.com which is fairly mainstream with it's news articles and as a heads up for people to see the gradual erosion of our freedoms.

"Gradualism" is the most effective tool of the string pullers.

It is hot here in Aus. at the moment with most of us having 30 degrees plus daytime.

Are you enjoying the 30 degrees minus over in Canuk Land??

Shoot!! In "Heavy Weather" there are four topics that have been responded to in the last 24 hours.

So is it "Better Keep an Eye on Dat" or "Ain't Nobody got Time for Dat"????

Heavy Weather is a a place where the usual rules are relaxed a little. Funny you think it's a trash bin - before its existence these threads belonged in the real trash bin - deleted. At least they are still accessible now. More freedom of speech!*

I vaguely remember hearing only recently that they have binned it. I think they have finally conceded that it wouldn't filter much, and you could bypass it anyway. Something which a lot of techos would have been telling them from the beginning.

I think it is better to let people access these things in the open, as it would be much harder to find them if they started to hide things. The other 99.x% of the population would just get annoyed.

For once i'm going to have to disagree with you cisco.

The U.N as our de-facto World Gov should have the right to block hate speech.

Such as anyone who thinks it wasn't a bloke in a cave wearing sandals and a turban that orchestrated the demolitions of three superstructures.

As U.N puppet George W said,we should never tolerate outrageous theories.

In other words, acceptance of the ''truth'' as brought to you by the corporate media is the new law.

Do you mean WTC 1, WTC 2 and WTC 7?
