kite Boarders Disease

I sit here by the window looking out

I sit here with hope and lustful doubt

To see the stirring of the trees

I wonder if there is enough breeze

To take my board, rashee and kite

I am doubtful if I can take flight

Yet I drive to where there is breeze

You see I have “Kite Boarders disease”

Kiteboarder's Disease

I sit here by the window looking out,

I sit here with hope and lustful doubt.

A rope hanging from a tree, I spy afar,

From which I can dangle and pass handlebars.

To take my board, rashie and tea-bag,

To get tangled with power lines and go home in a body bag.

Over my wetsuit, I wear my boardies,

You see I have "kiteboarder's disease"

I'm keen to see the poem on "pole-surfer's disease" as written by a kiter.

Ok here you go then:

Pole Surfers Disease

To all the Girls out there I know

I can’t help wonder if it will BLOW

I’m a Pole Surfer you know! The Local Chick

I sit Comfortably on The Kite Surfers D*&k

Now I sit back and wonder if I’m called a sleaze

For gods sake I now have “Pole Surfers Disease”

What is this Disgusting ailment I hear you say

Don’t worry take this Penicillin it will go away

Kiter's Christmas Ode

People are nice,
chattin's fine,
Eating twice,
and lotsa' wine.

Don't get me wrong, family is dear,
It's just that seabreeze AND babyjesus would go splendidly.
I'd be gliding, whooshing, walking on waters clear,
and emulating a divine fisherman from Galilee.

To get dragged into the sandunes, out of control,

To get tangled with Santa's sleigh and end up at the North Pole.

Hey,
I had to!

Anything and everyone is fair game on this site, so I have discovered. You have to have a sense of humour and be able to laugh at yourself.

Everyone I have met since starting kiting are a great bunch, and bloody funny bastards.
