I wish!!

Was a paid-up member of the WA Secession Movement during the '70s. We were blackmailed into the federation in the 1st place.

Give or take :

192 nations recognised by the UN

15% have a population smaller than 0.5 million
40% have a population smaller than 5 million
60% have a population smaller than 10 million

10% have population greater than 50 million
5% have a population greater than 100 million

33% of people live in two countries (China and India)

If WA was a nation it would sit at about 75% level for population size (so 140 in 192).

So - my point is : Is there a minimum population size for a nation to be sustainable, in terms of delivering first class services to its people ? Is such inequality in nation sizes sustainable in the world ?

You put them together. Some say they are miles apart.

Some say Gina inherited her fortune and has done nothing with it, where as Forrest made his fortune from nothing.

They both have their own very significant and substantial interests as the priority. Twiggy more of the investors he has to keep happy.
Gina just keeps raking the royalties in from huge mining interests
It would be interesting to see the actual taxes paid by them.

No way would the politicians in Canberra let it happen.

It would be a civil war if WA seceded. Gillard would be up there rallying the troops thinking she was the reincarnation of Abe Lincoln.

Secession from big national governments would leave most people better off as long as one group of parasitic overlords is not exchanged for another.

I used to think Twiggy forest was doing kind of the right thing , what with encouraging indigenous employment but after looking into FMGs handling of mining tenemants and aquisition in roebourne , him and his company are nothing but marauding f#$$wits, check out the youtube video (FMG great native title swindle). How much money does one man need ??
