Hey guys,

Three things:

1) I've just recently moved from Mildura to Port Pirie (for Uni) and was wondering if anybody knows anybody who wakeboards/waterskis around here? There is plenty of water so some one must own a boat around here and if they do i would be pretty keen to make friends.

2) I'd love to get into kite surfing and was wondering whether there is anywhere around here where you can do a lesson/play with a kite, or if anyone willing to hang out with me for a couple of hours and run me through the basic idea. I've got a car so I'm happy to head to Wallaroo or Whyalla or anywhere within a couple of hours. The only lesson if found online seems to be in Port Lincoln which is a bit of a hike.

3) Does anyone here know Tony Doltan (TD)? I met him a month or so ago and he gave me his number to give him a call RE: kite stuff but i lost it.

Cheers for your time.

Emma

Hey Emma your best bet for kitesurfing is going to ebay and buying the biggest cheapest kite to learn on because your first kite normally gets trashed. The best place to practice if you cant get to a beach is a football or soccer field.
And for a board any wakeboard with heaps of rocker to cut threw the choppy wind swells is best.
