Good example of how they have us obsessed with such trivial things like cricket, that a full house turns up,much of them NOT under cover and it is around 100 degrees F in the shade. Have to pay me a packet to watch paint dry in that heat!

Yup, Agreed. Despite what people think of the French, we became an SI country in 1966. So get over it. That goes for measuring waves in feet and harness lines in inches

why would you bother making a negative comment about something that dosent affect you? You clearly dont like cricket, crowds, and the sun, so what. Why do you think anyone would be intrested in what you dont like? Why would you post that?
Who the heck is "they" the australian cricket board? The goverment? the aliens? what the heck are you getting at?

Nothing wrong with watching a bit of sport so long as you don't obsess over it. The thought of watching any sport in that heat and not even under cover, well whatever does it for you.

Sport was invented by the government to distract us from what they are up to. They also invented this drink that you have while watching sport that has a chemical added that dumbs us down and makes it more interesting. People who drink and watch sports become sheeple.

Surely if the Australian government invented sport and alcohol we wouldn't have a budget deficit???

I was there yesterday for 8 hours with no shade.

Yup, it was a bit toasty but it was a great day with a great crowd having a great time, watching the what is probably the last test match ever to be played at that historic ground until it gets redeveloped.

Yes, I'm going back again tomorrow.
