I am taking the 4WD up to Wedge Island in a couple of weeks and am wondering what the camping is like up there. Also, what's the windsurfing and fishing like up there?

From memory you are not supposed to camp @ wedge itself, but the WA folks will know better.
As for the spot OMG it's epic. Even if there is no wind (not that I wish that on anyone except for a surfer) the water is soooo nice and there were lots of people fishing. Hell, it's worth it just to drive up there and sit on the beach.
The bach right next to wedge gets a little crowded if it's a good day with no wind, but they tend to thin out when the wind comes a cranking.
Just mind the dune buggies on the drive up the beach...

The camping is a little out in the open. Not many trees left up there anymore. Take a few tarps. There are plenty of places to sail. Everything from flat water blasting to wave sailing. Watch out for the cray lines. The fishing is also very good.
I have always sailed north of the island.
