Righto - it's on!!

Probably the most evenly matched derby in a few years...

1st biff before the bounce. [}:)]

1st report 3 mins into 1st quarter

1st goal 15 secs after that

Nic Nat and Le Star 3 goals each

Eagles to win by 12pts

Diver to feast upon humble pie (bloody hope so after this post!)

Game orn!!

Would have put $$ on Kerr for the medal this week, if he hadn't looked so crook (shoulder) at the end of last week's game.

Wide open for anyone to grab BOG.

Cheeky grin? Fair dinks - even Ballantyne's mum couldn't love a head like that. No wonder he's so angry, short, fugly and he's gotta see that mush in the mirror every morning.

Nicoski or Hurn kicks the sealer from +60m.

I'll stick with watching Rugby Union...where you don't go to a tribunal for lightly tackling someone

Good thing about the derby is hopefully the beach wont be so packed.

We are Geelong, The Greatest Team of All !!

Interesting Derby result though... (I didn't see the match though).

What a match on Friday night !! A title fight, for top of the ladder, and Geelong Boys wanted to show a few people what they can do.

But now we're kind of "The Tall Poppy" again... [}:)]

This years rule changes are working well for us... Spare man to sub off an older bloke. Plus the long kicks are coming back for various reasons.... That suits our Geelong boys too... I'll name a few of our blokes who have a useful long kick, in rough order...
Hunt, Scarlett, Enright, Taylor, Bartel, Chapman, Ottens, Mooney, Ling, Kelly... More than capable, Selwood, Hawkins, Stevie J, Mitch Duncan, Menzel....

Plus our young kids have really stepped up to the plate.

And where the only skills are

(1) be really big
(2) run really fast
(3) catch pretty good.

yeah no worries

Definition of Rugby? 3 blokes trying to push 2 blokes up another blokes arse.
Is that how the old joke goes? I don't know the numbers, but anyway it is all arse pushing nonetheless

(BTW I don't particularly rate AFL either, but surely the number of individual skills to be mastered is a little higher then run fast and throw sideways?)

Na, weather is too easy. I've got a $100 bet on at the moment for the Saints to finish bottom 6 ( I said bottom 4 but the bookie said "I'll give you bottom 6" ) HA!!!. Pretty good odds at the start of the season......... Go saints......NOT!

A ****load Mark, I'm thinking of hedging the bet and hiring a hitman to wak Nick Riewoldt (just to be sure). Is that wrong?
