Took the day of today

Have been watching this swell coming for a while, so we toodled ourselves down south and had a play at south point.

Check the channel ten news tonight the chopper was down there filming it.

That was a quite sizable swell, when we hit the water it was 5.2m on the charts.

I have never sat out so far at southies. Nth piont was breaking about 500m out.

Middles (the middle of the bay) was about 4x head.

Huzza's was breaking out in linewith where SP normally breaks.

and the tow in crew had a bit to play with out at the bombie, it looked huge from the sth point carpark.

to the crew who took to the open water breaks, huge respect.

What an awesome day.

Must have been a good size at S.Point then, bet you had fun!!
Was even nice here, head and a half at the point, and even well overhead at 3rds.
Off shore all day, gearie's must have been great as well, the tide was pretty low this arvo.
Trouble is my back is still crook!!!! And doesn't seem to be getting better.
I'm wondering now about the wisdom of calling myself decrepit!

The calves are still cramped.
My arms still hurt.
I need a trip to the back cracker.
and I've got one evil adrenaline downer going on

but I'm still buzzing

Bring on work today! I wanna talk to my surfing customers[}:)][}:)]

The were from the bombie just north of Cowaremup.

You could watch it all from the hill through Binoculars and see the spray and explosions from the Sth point carpark

Thanks for that Alby, were you there?

What speed you recon those surfers get when "dropping in" ? Recon the smooth face makes it less likely to catch an edge.

Was there surfed, hand bagged out on the serious stuff and surfed Sth Piont Way out back at 3x head through to past the stair case.

It was such an awesome day with the slight ofshore making such a large swell pristine.

Still got the buzz going
