I could only get her going anticlockwise when i first saw it.
But if i try really hard she goes the other way.

Got clockwise. But you can see it anti-clockwise. If you scroll down so you can only see the foot turning. Now concentrate on it turning anti-clockwise, eventually you will see it turning anti-clockwise. Then scroll up and you should see the whole body turning a/c

Bloody frustrating - I can't get the b*tch to spin the other way.

I always thought i was heavily left brain oriented, but this has me right brain oriented????

Also, would someone turn on the lights, so we can see her properly I'm sick of staring at her darkened figure. What a rack!

I saw her spinning both ways till I saw knot boards comment- now I can only see one thing (or is that two things). Funny how the brain works.

OK, the nerdy end... Who knows anything about psychology... or the antimony of the eye + brain... HARDIE... Are you on hols speedwave sailing

Do psychologists still believe in left brain, right brain stuff, or do we tend more toward a connectionist way of thinking now

It might have something to with visual receptors. Peripheral vs central vision, rods vs cones....

Look at her using peripheral vision... which way is she turning... I can make her change direction by switching to peripheral vision (i.e. not looking directly at the computer screen, looking away from the screen so I can see her out of the corner of my eye) At this stage, she also has 4 boobs - Greeny!!!

Model plane pilots have a similar problem, you think the thing's coming towards you and it's actually going away... then you wonder why all of a sudden it's a little black dot!

Takes practice to 'flip the switch' in your head so you can then 'see' it either coming or going depending on what you reckon is actually happening.

I can make that girl dance both ways on demand, no problem

My head hurts, but I'm not sure if it's from switching her from clockwise to anti-clockwise, or from staring reeeeaaal haaard to see a...

Yes, I can finally change her on demand. Before i could only do it with the peripheral vision mentioned. But now, ahh, my life feels complete and accomplished.

I see her spinning clockwise, but I think more from her stance, her right arm is leading her leg, which i thought is more how one would spin, throw the upper body into it and let the rest follow... but meh, javascript:insertsmilie('')

What does this forum have to do with kiteboarding? You're looking for All Forums > Kitesurfing > General, that's just down the hall there. This is All Forums > General Discussion > General. Just so you know. All sorts of strange **** goes on in here.

Kiteboarding?
Whats that?
Is that some weirdo activity?
Sounds like something you do with boardshorts over wetsuits?

was buggered if i could get her to spin anything other than clockwise and was ok with that because right side thinking cover risk taking... then read the tread a little more and tried the peripheral view and after a good 2 mins i got her spinning anti-clock, as soon as i looked at her straight on she went back to clockwise... now after a good 5 mins and very sore eyes i got her doing what ever i want...

oh yeah one other thing. I wear glasses and with my glasses on no matter where i look at her from she spins clockwise...

so my Qu. is are they sure this really has anything to do with left/right brain?
