What's up with receipts?

I just bought a McMuffin and a coffee and I have a receipt that is nearly 1/2 a metre long. When I go to Sea World and get a coffee and doughnut it's the same story.

WTF?

(PS, I usually eat very healthy)

Yeah when I go to the golden arches drive threw I tell them to keep their receipt, it's not like they can get your order correct using it anyway. Ronald McDonald should stop wasting paper in his quest to stop world hunger
