Mine is Shazam - just love to track those great songs I don't know the name of.
Followed by the NRL Live app - great for when you are at a wedding and missing the action (I get a few elbows from Mrs).

I've only had it a few weeks, but figuring it out and using it a lot.

Think of it like building your own magazine (flipboard) by subscribing to all different feeds. Each one slowly updates, some every few hours, some every month.

You gotta spend at least 10-15 mins browsing stuff that interests you and hitting subscribe. It's all about that red flag thingie in the corner, hit that to subscribe. Also if you keep hitting back (left arrow) you can get to 'my flipboard' and that is the stuff you're currently subscribed to.
You can shuffle the order in 'my flipboard' and any you don't want you just hold down and a bin appears, drop on it to delete.

As you read ones you like they offer other similar feed suggestions and you can subscribe to them too.
You end up with like 50 magazines about stuff you like.

The starting picks are fairly ok, but it's much better once it's just stuff you like.

Once you're set up, basically flip up like it's a pad hinged across the top. Touch to go into a feed or sometimes you need to swipe right to left. Swipe left to right to go back out a level or hit the back button top left (looks like a left arrow).

Tune in Radio and Spotify (premium version) get the most use at home and out and about. Google maps and Shazam get a fair work out as well followed by Dropbox and Endomondo.

Invoice2go. As a small business operator it's probably the most useful tool I've bought in 20yrs.

Great work Dan.
I was going to ask if anybody had a good app for tax invoice.
Very handy on the road.
In this day and age, paperless is best and bloody convenient.

Thanks for the rundown on flipboard kd, I might give it a second chance.
My favorite app would have to be redstick sitecad - cost a bit over $50 at the time. It's an Aussie developed 3d (bim) capable site-measuring software program that links to my Disto laser measurer via bluetooth. I use it for my work (site-measures, building design) to save the issues with interpretation from sketchy notes & measurements. I just save the file & open it with my drafting software of choice. All existing walls, windows & doors are basically done.

Seriously a (business) lifesaver. Checkout the receipts2go in the in app purchases as well. Also does reporting.

+ 1 for city maps 2 go ($2.99)
Download maps of any city and view offline when on holidays. Has live tracking offline, means you don't use data when following your position. Search points of interest, restaraunts, met stations etc. just been using it in New York and its flawless

Schralp Tide - Such a simple to use tide forecast.
AFL Live - Not cheap but I can watch every afl game live on my iPad and when at home play it via Apple TV onto my big flatscreen.
Shazam - great for working out what that song is and who it's by.
