I could but its a bit of a waste of time for an hour by the time i park, sit at the traffic lights etc Sometimes if its really hot i'll head down and go for a swim for half n hour but most of the time i pick my days, skip lunch and finish earlier

I use to in my old job. If the boss can go for an hours jog, why can't u go for a kite. I learnt a valuable lesson though.
Don't kite in marginal conditions at doll a point in the runout tide, when the wind drops. Let's just say the pack down and self rescue made me late for a meeting.

Sometimes I have a lunch break when I am sailing

Other times I just sail straight through lunch

Used to work on Hobart's waterfront.
On seabreeze day, used to rig at morning tea, sail straight from work on the Derwent for an hour at lunch time and de-rig at the end of day.
Always tried not to gybe too close to the lab???

Better still, my office hours are 0 to 15 knots, then I am "out on field work"

Why would I waste my lunch break kitesurfing?

used to work on the salt lake where we sail our landyachts, and the boss would let me sail out to the drill rigs if I had to work a saturday.
landsailing at time +1/2 and doubletime
always started 1.5hrs early during the week in case a front came through so I could knock off early and sail out to meet the squall front coming from the west.
not sure why I left that job

Yep, done it plenty of times. From my 4th floor office I can see the whitecaps at the Adelaide beaches. The only problem is knowing when to go back. The seabreeze tends to get better in the afternoon. Lucky I'm the boss.
