Two months ago I saw a death cross in the all ordinaries index and from that I predicted a recession - it's coming true as we speak. Wayne Swan is making an anouncement tomorrow.

When I came out and first predicted this on seabreese, heaps of peeps laughed at me, now peeps come up to me in the street and say "How the f'ck did you know the future adolf, what's coming next - you fkn hero"

Well, after careful economy analysis, and stacks of market research, now I reckon we are heading for a total reboot of the global financial economy followed by world war three.

Ok here are the facts

Ireland - stuffed
Greece - stuffed
Japan - stuffed
America - stuffed
Spain - stuffed
Portugal - stuffed
Italy - stuffed

Just a matter of time I reckon. I feel sorry all the new mothers breeding the next generation of soldiers.

World wars, nah not yet.

More like civil wars - there are a few places that things are prime to get nasty...

Yeah, like Koo We Rup, Tooradin, Mandurah, Toowoomba and Moe. They haven't had a rodeo or a silvers circus to lift their spirits for years.

Agreed that it's looking gloomy.

Yet I do not remember a time in all of my life (nearing 50) when it wasn't just equally valid as an observation. All of this would have been true 5,10,20,25 years ago - different countries, different wars or threats thereof, and so on.

And if you had monies invested in the past 10-15+ years, then you will have lived, and survived, through 3-5-7 such dips, recessions, mini-crashes, and so on.

Not saying we must get complacent or jaded, but now is not that unique me reckon.

If only it was legal to beat children all this could then have been avoided.

Go club some seals Adolf, you'll feel relief.

There probably hasn't been any point in history where a major war/military conflict hasn't been active in a significant part of the world. Wikipedia:

My prediction is that within the next 12 months one of the nuclear weapons that were built at Pelindaba in South Africa ( before independance and went missing after Margaret Thatcher issued a special order to have them diverted) will be detonated somewhere a la 911, possibly Europe, possibly Israel, but somewhere where it will have maximum impact.

This will result in Israel deploying nuclear defensive tactics against Iran and anyone else who is a vague threat, reads the koran and has oil.

We meanwhile will swallow the story that Osama's newly deicoverd cojoined twin or brother in law has been at the helm all the time and condone this annihaltion of these really bad bastards. The fall out will be less than ****ushima, so it won't be that bad

The aftermath of the renewed wave of terror will result in arming traffic wardens and security guards all in the interests of security.

And the tab in the back of your passport may take on a new meaning when it is linked to an information highway that is capable of compiling all of you personal information, anywhere, at a touch.

Bring it on, we'll all be so much safer

War ?

yes probably.

The summer is comin',
the seabreezes will be blowin'
the kiters will be flockin'
and the war will be started

Look Mum, No Hands

He They flies through the air
with the greatest of ease
That Those daring young man
in the blue yellow and red dungarees
Struck down by the G-force
Of a Semtex death-leash surprise
He bucks like a sea horse
Keels over and dies

With his eyes all dramatic
glazed and confused
The full metal jacket death-leash,
trousers and shoes

The 'y' generation would be up for it anyhow unless it came with an ipod, still attitudes may change if they allow a depression to begin and folks start to do without and times get hard.
If a large scale war was to start again, look towards the countries that have not enough girls to go around ie: India - estimated 5 million without a wife or chance to find one...

just read a comment about the $70 billion cuts to spending that Tony Abbot plans to do if elected. The suggestion that unemployment benefits for those under 30 years of age be cut, now being a simple man that I am, I just wonder if that's the case, will lead to an increase in civil unrest and criminal behavior and disconnection from society of that age group? or as to Adolf's question about war, has Tony got a master plan on what to do with that generation? They talk about the funding black hole, I think down the bottom of that hole is the moral abyss

I can't believe the ego on adolf here. Sorry pal but here's how it works eh?

1. Read article on 'death cross'. Here is one clearly dated a year ago, not hard to find.
http://blog.sli-smsf.com/2010/08/24/my-favourite-information-sources-part-4/

2. Read about how we had one. Haven't found your source on that one, but I'm not into the stock market forums, but I'm sure it was all over them.

3. Claim it as your own find, yup all your own work.

4. Declare yourself - and I quote - a 'fkn hero' on this forum. Seriously?

5. Cut n paste, declare yourself a 'fkn hero' on other forums too.

(I think the first reply there had a good read on you btw)

"heaps of peeps laughed at me"

Yup still laughin you fkn hero....
