I estimate I've met 4,673 people so far in my life. And I've never met anyone who's got one, had one, or knows of anyone who's got or had one, etc.

Do they exist, or is there some other way they make TV ratings?

I'm starting to worry about this.

so how about you rate them? How many good blokes, idiots etc? How many of them do you remember fondly n wd like to have a beer with?

I have also never known anyone who has had one....if it was at our place they would get the news n a bit if sport...probably 7 hrs a week of use.

My ex and her house mates used to fill in a log book of the back then version of a ratings box. (30 years ago) They used to get paid a modest fee to fill it out and return periodicaly. But i've never heard of anyone since, makes you wonder if it's a bit like some of the other industry staged awards, think wine awards, builders awards, small buisness etc... You have to grease the right palms to win them?

"Who's got a TV ratings box?"

I think it's the same people who also have a 'political polls' rating box.
