A bit less scary action, nicer music and a bit more insight into what goes on.

I don't get it? We know enough about aerodynamics. Why would you design something with a glide ratio of 2:1 other than having seen something like it in a Batman comic?? And then you've got to find a 2:1 hill to jump off. Why not extend the wing span 30 cm beyond finger tips for a glide ratio of 3:1? That would open up many more suitable hills. Or is that not allowed? What a random sport.

ive seen a couple of suits with small extensions but not 30cm. dont seem to make much difference. i guess the smaller the suit the faster you track as well and speed is part of the kick.
also its quite a new sport so give it time and there will be some amazing things to come i guess.

I'd love to give one a go if there were mountains around so took up HG instead, 15/1. Flown Halls Head a few times. How many jumps do you need total to earn your wings?

His glide slope might improve a little if he didn't have a great big set of brass balls weighing him down. I never really considered how much of a team effort it is either. Impressive.

I have read that the performance is directly affected by the body position of the flyer, and holding good body position is very strenuous.

So I'm guessing, you plan your flight based on where you want to go, where you have to go to get a safe exit, and how long you think you can hold the body position.
