I just watched the video they made for our bid & I've gotta say, a lot of you are being way too harsh;

That video did a great job of showcasing Australia as a nation of people who celebrate thievery, are bad at acting, are bad at people management by example of employing old actors as bounty hunters instead of a champion runner, rest on our laurels of decades past, oh and have chicks with big tits doing weights at every beach.

It would have definitely won as a bid in securing the annual international retard convention.

I'm not anti soccer, I think its a good game. I just don't like governments chasing these big events that do nothing for the average person except make them poorer.

Apparently the NSW government is paying her to come out to Sydney to promote Australia to American tourists.

Talk about bad timing & a stupid idea. Firstly the American economy is collapsing so the average joe and his wife who watches Ophrah can't afford to get here. Secondly if they could get here all they would do is complain about the prices coz everything costs more than here. Thirdly if you were American, why on earth would you come out to Australia for a holiday? Enduring a horrible plane trip over the Pacific when you can travel down to Mexico, Hawaii or somewhere in the Caribean for much less money.

The Olympics were apparently going to springboard tourism in Australia. It did bugger all and that was at a time the Aussie dollar would only buy about 50 cents US.

Stupid bloody government. If she wants to come out here let her pay her own way. More money going from the people into the pockets of those who already have too much.

We really are choking ... every day there are 10km traffic jams, and last Tuesday there was a 39km traffic jam.

I've travelled quite extensively and Sydney's traffic is the worst I've encountered. Media take great pride in telling us how much smoking/faceboot/etc cost businesses in lost productivity, imagine what traffic jams cost!
