Well I am, and I'm getting sick of disappearing every time you wake up. It makes it really hard to schedule things. Can you post your sleep patterns so we can have a life too, huh?!?

Has anyone actually tried lucid dreaming??
Trying to learn how to do it, have done it twice but woke up within seconds. Apparantly you can do whatever you want. (Like fly, drive a f1 car, go shoot stuff,surf jaws, and the obvious one).

Many moons ago when I was a kid I developed the ability to wake myself from nightmares, that was very nice.
But then the nightmares retaliated, and I started dreaming I had woken myself up, and the nightmare followed me into reality.

lights flickered in the background, large walls of ice rolled slowly into a cosmic blue ocean revealling a wonderland exposed beneath, a pulsing noise resonated in the background with a machine intensity but with an organic beat, not unpleasant, but driving on metronome like, pushing deeper into the void, a footpath appears parallel to a school chain link fence alarming in its accuracy, and intensity, it streches on into the distance, the concrete perfectly seperated by the cracks, appears white, clean, perfectly intense. A large Oyster opens below and reveals its flesh exposed and wet, cold yet alluring, a pearl sits implicity, a question hovers in the subconcious, a school bell rings, and peels of laughter echo in the tomb, the footpath above streches into the heavens and peels off, the accuracy of which is unreal and unsettling. A form hovers into the scene and seems to offer respite but danger appears and violence errupts, blood and pain, loss and confusion enter the void. Conciousness is regained, and helpfull forms, confident and smelling of garlic reach into the room and grip teeth still lodged in the jaw yet bound for extraction. Bindings reduce movement and suddenly the beastly easterley pauses. A break? the bamboo stops slashing the weatherboard, the moon yellow smoke covered, full and low clears, blinks, and winks.

I think in my version of this dream, I can actually land my tricks everytime.

Can you make that happen? specially if it's YOUR lucid dream...
Or are you saving all the tricks for you?!

After dragging myself out of bed, cursing the fact that the wind is not blowing at 20-25 from the southwest and a nice 2m swell is not running, (double cursing the fact that I dont live a stones throw from the beach), forcing myself to come to work and now proceeding to do the same ol' stuff as yesterday .... my only glimmer of hope is that I now realise I am just part of Poor Rellies lucid but strangely eratic dreamscape.

COME ON RELLIE, for cripes sake dream up something better than this .....

elmo is having an out of body experience whilst De'crep is enjoying a mushroom trip with Hardie who is trying to chat up stribo whilst grumples looks on disapprovingly.

I get catapaulted in my dreams apparently.......
