What's your favourite application.

I've wasted most of today using "A World of Photo" on the droid... wouldn't say it's my favourite but I get hooked seeing the sent pics.

Should have an Icon that read App shop or similar, just click when you have a web signal and you will have 1000's to chose from, lot of them are free too!

If you play guitar (or any kind of musical instrument)

iTunes and Safari are the ones I use the most. I listen to a heap of podcasts, check the weather and radar to excess, look at all the crap you clowns type.

Guitar Tools - gives you a tuner with every kind of guitar tuning pre-loaded, metronome, chord finder, chord dictionary, scale dictionary

Amplitube - the free version gives you a heap of effects (delay, fuzz, overdrive, distortion, chorus, phaser, octaver, amp modelling, another tuner and single track recording. (You can use the internal microphone or you need an adapter to plug you electric guitar or synth. $36 from ebay)

You can upgrade it with 4-track recording and every kind of Fender pedal and amp modelling.

You can import tracks and slow them down by up to 40%

The only downside is it keeps offering new features for $4.99 a pop. I guess you could get the lot for under $100. That replaces several thousand dollars worth of music technology.

The F'ken thing never gets switched off unless I'm on a flight.

Softrace for Android is my fave.
Really motivates and pushes you harder.

softrace page says......
Softrace is a GPS based racing application for outdoor sports, such as running, cycling and skiing. You can track your opponents in real time. Create custom race tracks and invite others to your challenge. Race against other users or go head to head with your toughest opponent; yourself. All you need is a smart phone with Android and the Softrace app.

Anyone here using a tablet? I recently bought a Acer Iconia A500 tab and its pretty awesome!

Only downfall is it can only connect to the net with wifi at this stage, there are 3G models coming out soon, but I'm impatient and 3G would also mean another bill to pay. At the moment I'm parked out the front of McDonald's using their free wifi

Its runs on android 3.0 honeycomb or something like that.

I-Pads are also tablets, in case u weren't sure

Yeah Maccas free wifi is good. There are other places like library's and cafe's that have free wifi. I think there is an app which lists the nearest free wifi locations?
And yes my iPad is only wifi connected

Seems like it's the only decent 1 available... I'm holding out for the Asus Transformer (can't find one anywhere)... I'd use the table for reading mags, so I need an IPS panel.

Im pretty chuffed with the acer, kinda wish i had waited for a 3G one now, but im sure there is some way i can use my USB wireless broadband with it.

Im only really exploring the Android market today as i have been away from the internet for a week.

the Asus looks pretty awesome! i like the idea of the clip in keyboard bit! very clever. acer also make an i5 powered tablet! $2500 odd dollars tho ahh well. The A500 is still impressive!
