Despite being a fitter and machinist/welder/coastal marine engineer etc, in 1979 I chose to take the career path of being a "commission only" salesman (sorry, salesperson) at which I achieved success in my professional activity for some 13 years as well as learning the principles of success in life.

At one point in that 13 years I had $140 in the bank, financial committments and no promising prospects.

Decision time and I decided to do whatever I had to do to keep me moving towards my goal which was an ocean going yacht and a passive income to support it.

What I did was ask around (as you are doing) and got a job washing cars at an auto auction house.

Dedication, determination, discipline and the right attitude towards achieving your goal are vital ingrediants to success in life. If you have those, all you have to do then is the work, no matter what it is.

If you can keep plugging away at it even when it makes no sense no more, you will win through brother, you will WIN through. Cheers Cisco and I wish you a Merry Christmas and prosperous New Year.
