90% of the time you don't get tennis elbow from tennis.

Seriously... I have golfers elbow in both elbows which was caused from windsurfing in over powered conditions. Its similar to tennis elbow. Both these two types are a condition caused from the same swinging action from the golf swing or tennis swing. My physio told me I have golfers elbow.
I also sometimes suffer from w*nkers cramp

Opposite here Bubs. I have lower back pain most of the time, unless I go sailing. That seems to fix it for a while - the windier it is the longer the pain goes away for. Doctors orders - go windsurfing as much as possible

I'm with you easty, a good session seems to relieves most aches, I've had lower back pain and could hardly walk, but strap into a harness it all dissapears, I think staying mobile is the key so you don't seize up, plus a lot of deep heat and nurofen cream.

sounds like age is catchin' up people! got the same probs i just don't take pain killers but do stomach crunches to sturdy the back spine as the doc ordered..as for harnesses a good waist harness has been good to my back than the first seat harness..don't know if this is true for all?
and yes richie rubbing gel on your squash ball might be hazardous to your sex life

Hey Master Green, I have the dreaded golfers elbow also mate, I think from too big a sail in windy rough open water and too short harness lines. I was talked into going down to 22" lines, WTF was I thinking, on 26's now and thinking of going to 28's. I realize you wave sail and that mightn't relate to you

Yeah I think I might change from the 22" lines that Im using now to something like 26".
Leech has been trying to get me to go longer lines. Maybe this may help with the elbow pains. But yes it definately does get sore after an overpowered session
