i am wondering hoe should i get into the crayfishing industry out of Fremantle.....not as a career, but a chance to get some sea-time up if i decide to do a master class or something???any ideas please post

The catch forcat for the next couple of years is pretty poor for the fremantle area, so the money wont be good.
If you can move north for the season from Dongara north, further north is better, or get on to an island boat for the Abrolhos the catches are still pretty good up there.
Make sure your sea time is signed of correctly as within 100nm from the coast or you will get restrictions. Also sign off as a general purpose deck hand not just a deck hand or you can't get you engineers ticket. I've been having arguments with the DPI lately and have only just been passed.
