if you read one book for the year make it this one, Ghost Wave, by Chris Dixon, the story of the Cortes Bank, bit of history and insight into big wave riding, not only the quest to discover and ride the mongrel big wave, but also the surfers doing it, the book is that well written you won't put it down, you can feel the adrenaline.....
