on way back from beach 2day got pulled over coz i was apparntly doing 20 over i probably was but the speed limit should have been 80 not 70

anyway i pull over since its a skyline i get 2 cops go over every inch of my car one of em was gonna make me go over the pits because my radio is to loud i called her an idiot because it was a normal radio standard 6 inches no sub

so they make me toot my horn rev my engine all this time im like she is stock as a rock then there like tap the brakes and i said "why dont you just smash in my tail light and pin me for that"

so the dick head cop goes "you know what your p plates are a little faded thats another 100"

my responce "you feel better now you dickhead"

results in a full ****ing body search

moral of the story just shut up cops are on there high horse there the school bullies who couldnt ge real jobs so the only way they can continue to bully people is to do this.

worst part is after chrissy presents jus saved up enough to buy a 9m and now i cant and hav 2 wait

sorry this doesnt have much to do with kitesurfing just venting really

Apart from being extremely hard to comprehend what you wrote to make some understanding of it, that sucks.
What year Skyline you have?

Either way, I drive an '87 Skyline and been pulled over for the random breath testing on the way for a kite! Cracks me up every time, and amusing how they see a style of car, stereotype it, and pull you over.

Just don't give them cheek back! You're just more likely to get in even more strife!

Not a bad car! Touche. Would look damn nice done up too.

Nice amount of boot space in those if you don't have a sub in the back, but apart from that, you're crammed for space hey!

Go the ute! [}:)]

That's called the 'P' Plater initiation. Cops love you guy's, remember they like to laugh. They go back to the car after and say to each other things like "what a little p***y he nearly sh!t his pants in fear" or "what a little smartarse, that $500 fine will teach him who's boss".

At the end of the day your better saying little more than yes sir no sir. It's much less painful to the pocket, less time on the side of the road as well.

Constable Care says "Have a happy new year, but don't drink and drive"

Am I reading this right? you admit to going over the speed limit by 20km/h, and you think the cops are in the wrong? They're just doing their job, and if you didn't give them so much cheek, I bet they would've been alot nicer to you. Honestly, I think you should get off your high horse and stop dishing it out to cops when you were in the wrong.

i have been pulled over before for speeding thats fine, i dont think i was doing 20 over i wasnt looking at speedo so i cant be sure.

all i am saying is if the copers were decent to me i wouldnt of had a problem the fact is they were trying to be absolute dickheads just because i am a p plater driving a fast car.

Only a d!ckhead would call a cop a D!ckhead to their face!
especially one that wants to kick yer ass.

you're just lucky they forgot the rubber gloves...or a full cavity search could have changed your religion.

Just to save the width of the post. This is the pic you meant to post from that link LOL

True about the speeding, but cops push their boundary too often sometimes.

You were rude to them which you should not have been. Like a Judge, you respect them and take what they say on board. Swearing on being smart wouldn't have helped.

Nothing like 2 cop cars sitting at wello watching the kiting the day after chrissy. That's what I call doing you're job fellas!

You are kidding me aren't you!?

Yes what the kid did was wrong #1 with speeding and #2 with back chatting, however anyone who owns a modified car or a sporty one OR is on P plates knows they are unfairly targeted over other drivers!

Only a mere discussion on it! BTW - I do not defend as my car is not modified or hotted up.

What about the judicial system. You want to talk about slamming the govt. department, what about the now 10 year old indigenous girl who was raped first at age 7, and one senior officer was fired over it and 2 suspended with 1 YEAR PAY!!!! AND the ****s who did it went free from jail! consent or NOT, that is rightly slamming the govt. dept.

The beauty of being an almighty learner. Never even get glanced at. Its all gonna change in a few weeks when i get mr license[}:)]

Why should the speed limit be 80? I surpose you are a really experienced driver and capable of handling higher speeds on a road designed to go at 70 on? Speed limits are only there to help people. Doing 90 in a 70 zone is a fair amount over, and you are putting other people at danger.
Enjoy the fine[}:)]

wait until you get your license dawn before you comment on speed limits.
most of the speed limits you drive in now 10 years ago were 10 or 20 k's over but people keep dieing and speed limits keep geting lowered.

if people used to be able to do 80 on this road it is still possible.

im 100 persent confident in the way i drive i always give way when im meant to, indicate when im meant to its the twits that do 10 k's under the limit and dont no whos has right of way that cause accidents, and the speed freaks who do 200

The only thing I read out of this is you were doing the wrong thing, abused the cops because of it and you're still going on about it now. Lucky you weren't locked up, I'd say they were pretty lenient.

Not only are you somebody who apparently can't accept responsibility for their own actions, but it appears the you are also so naive that you haven't considered that cops might also kiteboard and read this forum.

I'd say there was only one d*%$head in this whole encounter.

i have friends that are cops that are real good guys i didnt mean to stereotype all of them but there are tools on power trips out there, yes i did the wrong thing by speeding and i said i was an idiot for back chatting but i wasnt being cheeky untill they started being cheeky to me!

i bet you drive a nice 4x4 or some car that never gets recognised so i dought you understand where im coming from

i did admit i was wrong, i was! so were they, they didn't act like decent officers!

if you are a cop and your reading this sorry for the stereotype im sure your a decent copper that kiteboards!

I think i know enough about hte consequences of speeding to be able to comment on the speed limit.
Sure the speed might have been faster 10years ago, but the road population would have been significantly less.
Just because you know how to give way, and to flick an indicator switch doesnt make you a good driver, its exactly the attitude that young peopple have "thinking" they are good an experienced etc.
How long was the road you were on? Say it was 15km. At 70km an hour, it would take around 12mins to get to destination. Now doing 90, it will take 10mins, is 2minutes really worth risking other people lives?
Sure you "might" be good enough to drive that fast. But when someone pulls out and sees you and thinks "plenty of room, hes doing 70", they go, and oh sh!t hes doing 90 and BANG.
And as you said its the twits that dont indicate etc that cause accidents, would you rather hit one of them at 70 or 90 km an hour. Remember E=.5 x mass x velocity squared. 20km an hour is a HUGE difference in energy.

ok well I'm off just reading this over
Just a few things

1. Speeding is bad, don't do it, speed limits are the for a reason

2. Give cops some slack, they have to deal with a lot of bs and dont need some cheeky smart ass talking back at them for doing there job ( i was just angry and i appoligise)

3. if you do be cheeky dont post it in a kitesurfing forum

sorry guys just had a bad day

good winds

unless you have evidence, you aint gonna get out of a speeding ticket. Just say that they got you, your sorry and the speedo just crept up a bit. Going 90 feels like going 60 in a car designed to go fast. More often than not the copper will give you the ticket and let you go on your way.

point taken mate, but no chance of anyone turning into me on this road just long stretch of road would have accelerated to much got up 2 90 and then was just going to cruise back to 75

A P plater,speeding....a lot ! 20 K over ???

You should lose your licence at least !

"Not watching your speedo"

Thats a good one !
Next thing you will drive through a school zone because you aren't watching the signs or your speedo !

I am glad to hear the Cops are doing a good job.

You solved the problem already "but people keep dieing and speed limits keep geting lowered."

Stop speeding and you will be OK.

Simple.

In conclusion,
- You were speeding
- You were being a smart-arse
- You called a person in an authorative position an 'idiot' and a 'dickhead'

and you expect not to be pulled over and given the once over?

The 'no real job' is a bit rough as well. They have to deal with people like you all the time. We don't need drivers like you on the roads...I had a mate hit by a car and nearly killed by some ****er driving a performance car speeding (hip-hop booming, cap backwards, windows down...fully sick cuz). If that's your response to being pulled over by the police who are trying to ensure nothing like that happens again, then you're a dickwit who shouldn't be driving.

Sorry mate, but if I were a cop I'd want to pull you over cause you sound (and presumably look) like a dickhead.

I think you've probably already gathered from the previous responses that you failed the thing commonly known as the "attitude test". The worse you fail, the more it costs you.

I'm the first to admit there are some absolute tools in the job. I don't know if its a higher percentage than any other job but they do seem to stand out and be the ones people remember.

You deal with d!ckhe@ds wherever you work and generally have to bite the bullet and put up with it because the customer is always right. Policing is a bit different, you have the option of treating these people the way they treat you. I wouldn't say they were bullies, I'd say if you weren't smart enough to learn after the first smart @rse comment, you were lucky to walk away without a yellow sticker as well as any fne they could have thrown at you.

I'm not saying you need to go out and suck up to anyone, just show them the respect you expect in return and more importantly call them d!ckhe@ds behind their back like everyone else does, not to their face or expect the response you get.

Oh and as an afterthought...... it's friggin New Years, every copper and his Mum will be on the road!

i was told i was getting a fine, then breath tested... mates in cars story heard [he didnt hear me talking it out before] and the whole licence checks ect. 15 min later i was waved good bye with the "don't come back to this area tonight" with no fine in hand.
they have you pulled over for being bad, some times they find a newer lesser crime to get you on instead.

just shut up and take it, make them feel sorry for you when giving you a fine but most of all treat them with respect ect and your likely to get off, if it works once out of 3 times then its worth holding your words

--that sounds hell bad, explanation for it is, a gang was walking down a side road and threw a can at the car. i only saw 3 rather small looking guys so did a U ie and headed back at them then once we got back it turned out to be 10-15 and they started to ditch bottles so 1 180deg burn out later the cops who were on their way to sort out this group saw me doing it and had me pull over, some more ****e happened and pub stories but the end deal is they agreed i was acting in a manner to protect myself and friends in car [lolololol, i make a good one sided story under pressure] ---

why does that explain why young people die in cars
i am confident in the way i drive? if i wasnt then i shouldnt be on the dam road in the first place

i dont speed, got cought speeding because thought the limit was 80
im sure most of you have had speeding fines or been guilty of going over even if you havnt

but float just confused what point of that quote is the reason why young people die? the part i stated that speed limits get lowered? thats a fact, because i said peple can go 10 ks over without crashing? they can and most normally do doesnt mean i do or all young people do

happy new year
