to all you sandgropers and banana benders(hope this linggo isn't undecent) if you feel like it send me names of your favorite sailing spots so i can look it up...just curious mine is in Bacolod City, Negros Occidental..if you look at the map it looks like a foot just north of Mindanao..look for a runway strip and view south till you see 'pta.taytay'(punta taytay) or sum-ag a small town, these is were we sail during the trade winds nor'easters and look up north for lakawon island or next to Cadiz City for moonsoon southwesterlies...regards

lancelin is nice, because you have three stages, in close you have a nice calm bay, good for learning and freestyle, than in the middle bit you get good waves for learning on, and just practicing areals, (around chest high) then out back you get the nice big sets for wave riding, and what ever other extream things you like, this season i wanna get down there a bit, but finding time is hard

am lucky here especially us guys down south of the capital of the phils. it takes them 2-3hrs. just to get to the nearest sailspot and that's timing to avoid traffic..us takes 20mins-either way to 2spots only however...

Is this measured from behind the wave or infront of the wave? Or was it measured from the size of the white water?
It wasnt chest high when I went there?
If I go there again will there be big sets out the back?
What went wrong Jords?

being from a place where waves are mushy swell type and only get waves that break from both sides i always wonder how it is measured...if chest high i would consider that bout a meter high? right jordy
