how many days are you able to sail and what strength wind and on what kind of gear..

from a kiters perspective
go north for wind
down there over the w/e blowing barely 15kn yesterday at mr, tits off up here
still a dozen polers out at main break saturday having mega fun
no kiters, it does have its days and definitely the swell
lano north wind heaps better, waves too
found the wind difficult esp 15-20 kn range seems to have lots of holes
a local reckons need the 2025kn range
maybe that the south coast has a s/e seabreeze and mr not far enough away

someone has said to me that Jan is windy in the north and in Feb its the south is this true?

North is windy all the time
South is getting windier towards the end of summer season
