There's also NASA World Wind, which should be able to:

* Show isobars on a globe of the earth
* Show air pressure as a blanket that gets higher and lower based on what's recorded
* Show wind speed

However it appears you need a degree in rocket surgery before you can get it to do anything useful. As far as I can tell, it's made for and by professors, who love more than anything to confuse themselves with complexity

I'm feeling really thick at the moment. Has anyone managed to get this to do anything?

I've got the Montery thing loaded and it's not doing anything at all...
