Not trying to suggest an improvement on what is pretty much already perfect but ....forums for pretty much all water sports except kayaking. I'm relatively new to the sport (invested in a sea kayak so I can still get out on the water on the no wind days), would be great to be able chat with like minded people and source local information and knowledge.

Great sport, but they don't seem to be the forum types!

How about these...

What would be the harm in having a kayak forum, or a fishing forum???

As far as seabreeze is concerned, what are the negatives?

Surely it wouldnt be a quiet as the windsurfing forums.

A lot of the kayakers around here have a sail??? Kayak Pole Dancer forum maybe.
Chilla, check out KFDU, very active group mainly on the east coast. 100's of posts each day with 12 000 members.
Great bunch always keen to give advice and tips. All of them come on seabreeze to check the wind forcast, but then leave and go to KFDU as there is no forum here.

We had a fishing forum. HAD.
Let that be a warning to the kite forum

Heaps of SUP's look just like kayaks now. Why not just say you stand up with a one handed paddle instead of sitting on your your fat arse with a two handled paddle flapping around some lake/river/bay or whatever looking for friends.

Hop on the SUP forum, tell them you like to go faster, surf, race, fish, whatever, engage them in some serious discussions - see how far you get?

Remember - you are dead for a long time.
