our nearest neighbour, what the hell is going on there.A lot of mining,do we know all about our close neighbour.which is so close to east timor and indonesia. I believe their culture tells of a war where aussies saved them from the invasion and the fuzzy wuzzys who carried our injured .but times they are changing?

I spend a bit of time up there and it definitly has some issues for sure.
You need to keep in mind that they are a primative lot especially out of Morseby and stuff goes on up there that we may find disturbing they find completely normal. The local paper is an interesting read.
Corruption and crime are off the scale but when you spend a bit of time there you sortaunderstand why and how it works.
Theres a couple of breezers who might put there bit in here as they spend way more time up there than I do.
Still enjoy it though pretty cool spot.
Gotta feel for the hevilift boys who went down in the chopper this week though. They woulda known they were in strife and nowhere to land. RIP

I read yesterday about how hundreds of locals ate 7 witch doctors because they were charging too much. Apparently they wanted money a goat and to have sex with your wife and or daughters and the locals said that was too far.
So they hunted them down, ate there brains and made soup with the penises

Authorities are not sure how to respond and are trying to find ring leaders.

Edit they have arrested 29 people
