Can someone explain the thumbs down for this, Im sorry if it offended anyone, perhaps not a true wind and wave finder but I thought an impressive technology, and I know if I had access to it I would use the history function to look at the sand banks and wind trends of my favoiurite spots.

about 8-9 years ago i helped a mate design and document a house in brisbane.

the client was a microsoft exec.

the client wrote a program for the house which FULLY automated the house via touch screens in each room.

you could surf the net, talk to another room, turn up the air con etc from any room in the house. it was impressive stuff. he often used to show me the beta testing outcomes after design meetings. blew me away!

it was way ahead of it's time. not sure how much cable they ended up using.
