hello everyone,
does somebody know about the legendary summer ne seabreezes on the nsw coast? i have been told that a high off the coast is a good indicator but what else? should it be hot on the coast, no chance of showers etc or does none of this matter when the forecast says "20-30knots from the ne"?
thanks people

I've found that whilst sitting on the beach the wind picks up from the NE. If the temperature is 27 degrees + then I know that come 3 or 4pm I should be able to get out on the 6.2m with my 90ltr wave board. It seems that as long as it is warm, there is no southerly airflow and thunder storms don't disrupt the wind in the afternoon then you should get 15-20 knots.
If you hear on the forecast "30 degrees with wind from the North in the morning" it will be a good day..
