Great video. Not sure it's very smart to stand in knee deep water with all that wave surge and chomping going on. All it would take is one big wave and ...

Ha, Wouldn't invite that lot to a dinner party, they'd trash the place.

As for standing in the water - I've seen a shark beach itself there after chasing a fish. Just turned around and wriggled back into the water.

Impressive. I never doubted stories of sharks eating dogs off the leash that got in 2 feet of water, i.e. Botany Bay..

Sort of confirms that even though we don't see them all that often there's heaps lurking out there in the shadowy depths waiting for good tucker to turn up.

It must only be the very odd shark with a sense of culinary adventure that thinks a human is worth a bite. And then it probably thinks "never again".

This morning i was just about to enter Mettoms. Finshed my wee in wettie and started walking in over the reef looking at waves when noticed right in front of me. Maybe 8 feet away, i was only anckle deep, about 15 or 20 sharks about 2 foot in size. That i nearly jumped on top

So in wee filled wettie had to drive up the road a bit further
