Looking to get some solar related gear, i.e. panel(s), regulator etc. for remote camping.
Anyone have any recommendations on where to purchase?

Most camping stores do them now, BCF had them the last time I was there.

I have been thinking that having a solar panel on every camping van, even car roof in our climate will be quite cool.
You could run ventilation system or fridge inside even, recharge battery a bit specifically in hybrid vehicle.
But that main my concern is ability to shatter glass in road accident and create hell of flying missile shrapnel.
So I would use only flexible plastic solar panel latest generation that could be glued to the roof safely.

Ensure you get an MPPT regulator, not the normal one.
They give you up to 30% better power conversion. This matches the solar panel's best operating voltage and the battery's best charging voltage...
