someone will probably correct this but the K is for kingdom, so england is just K and we are KA(kingdom australia). then a few years back they updated the system to country codes so it became AUS. so the KA is not recognised in racing, but in waves it dosen't really seem to matter whats on your sail so people just didn't change.
