would it be possble to make(not me)a suit, wing suit stlye but bigger,that you could glide on the spot/around in high winds??

Well it would need to have wings the size of a hanglider in order to work.
Then it would need to have aluminium struts to hold it all together and allow you to have some semblance of control.

Come to think of it, they have already invented it ..... its called a hanglider

ever seen that jimi hendrix movie... rainbow bridge...?

there's a scene in that where this skinny hippie dude is jumping forward into this howlin wind on an island in hawaii and he's being held up for like a second or so...

maybe all you need is to be a skinny drugged out hippie

Or you could stick a jet engine on your back. I think thats been done too.

Seeing that video of those guys jumping off cliffs with suits on makes me think what you want is impossible. They still fell like stones, probably losing 20 meters altitude for every meter of travel.

I like how that reporter used the term "home-made jet-propelled wing".

Kind of reminds me of the John Denver tragedy, and how it was reported....with his "home-made experimental aircraft".

not a good mixture of words, in my opinion!
