I am seriously looking at buying an 2005 Nitro or CO2, but would like to find out the pros and cons of both, preferably from those that use them, any input would be appreciated.

The size I will be after is 14m.

Cheers guys and gals

Both excellent kites, however, over the two, go the pimpin Nitro. Much more responsive. By far the best kite Ive ever flown. They got it so dialled.

I flew 05 Co2 this season. Had a 10m and a 14m. Loved both especially the 10 m which i normally flew when everybody was out on their 12's. Both kites were awesome but having also flown a 12m and 16m CO2 reckon that the 10m is the best kite of the quiver. they just seem to have got it right. It was powerful and fast but still real easy to fly. I also managed to hold it down to over 30 knots so i thought its wind range was like 18 -32 knots which I think was awesome.

Go the nitro if you want to jump big and do kite loops, otherwise go the CO2 for waveriding and a more consistant pull. Both are good kites.

knew someone with the co2. But i think it was a 15 (perhaps 14). Thing is it was great when the wind was a bit light but closer to 17 knots and she got a bit harsh. Really powerful and perhaps unforgiving. He was a good kiter (well the hair always looks good anyway). It is a great kite no doubt and has got some serious grunt.

Geeza,

Thanks for finding that article, I'd actually read it before but a while ago and couldn't remember it.

I heard though because the Nitro has higher aspect it's easier to go up wind, I struggle with it on the Fuel as it sits pretty deep in the window.

Any confirmation on this?
