I want to pick up a 13m 07 Fuel to go with my 9m which i absolutely love but i want to know what the low end of this kite it like. I know the 06 13m Fuels had a terrible low end and i want to know if this has been fixed in the 07 kites??? My 9m has an incredible low end, all i need is about 18 knots and i can be having not...not just mowing the lawn.

What is the 13m like???

im 58kg and on my 07 11m i can get going in 11knts (absolute minimum though) so depending on yuor weight the 13m should be just as good. but if your looking for a light wind kite i would probably try the T2.

If 9m is your Fuel then the next one to get is the 13.

This years fuels are awesome. I have an 11m and a 15m. Low end on both is incredible. 11m gets me going in 14 knots. (85kg)

Whatever they've done to the 07 Fuel its a good thing. Nothing like the 06.

been on my 07 13 for 4 sessions and like it
has the same pull as the o5 kite which i absolutely loved so this kite fells very similiar

tip from some of the team riders is go shorter on the back lines by one knot ...seems to work well

enjoy the new kite

Hey Brucex, If the 07 has the pull of the 05 what makes the 07 $1000 better.
Honest question as im thinking of updating!

This is just my opinion so take it as you will.

You cannot go wrong updating your fuel.

The 07 is similar to the 05 in low end but that is about as close as the similarities get. IMHO the 07 turns alot quicker than the 05 and similar to the 06, the 07 is by far the more robust constructed of all the fuels produced so far, the 07 depower range has been significantly improved and therefore top end has improved, the sliding stopper on the bar works extremely well and is very simple to use, plus you can trim the 07 5th line which wasn't a feature with the 05.

I wondered who hung out on these sites! Brucex on a new Fuel 13 eh. Tell me its more of a festive looking kite then Capt Gumby. He needs to get more colourfull I reckon. Maybe a fluro green and red stinger suit, no boardies over the top!

have to agree with the capt g and axis
there is way more top end heaps more depower options with the new bar and yes it does turn quicker

wroth the upgrade for sure - i would imagine your 05 would be geting pretty tired by now
my colour is blue and black

just rode a downwinder on it very comfy

Bummer that I missed yesterday, was working, and today! Double bummer! Didn't see Capt Gumby out there on Saturday? That was pretty big as well. In fact the whole rest of the week looks sensational. had to get good sooner or later I guess.

Kited Port Douglas Saturday. Very good but very choppy early on with the highish tide.

Had the 13m 'Christmas Tree' in about 25 knots at times and was very impressed with the top end and depower of the 07 Fuel.
