I need advice on the line lengths for an 08 cult 10.5

My bar got destroyed in a fire (don't ask...) and the only thing salvagable of it was the smart loop.

I had an old cabrinha bar and some 25m lines left over and so i rigged them up with the smart loop to see if it would fly. Well it launches alright and stays in the Air but turns like a peice of 5hit. Anyways what I was wondering is what length should the back lines be compared to the front lines?

At the moment they are the same length when the bar is pulled right in.

Any help would be appreciated.

Cheers

I had a 2008 helix and the bar was same as cult.
All the lines are at the same length in full power.

Cult is a beginner kite and it is naturally a slow turning kite with the standard 20m lines.
When you changing the lines from 20m to 25m it will make the kite even slower and I think that is the problemo

Maybe you can talk to one of your local repair guys to trim your lines to 20m and on your other kite you can add the 4m extensions that you have.

Hmm, I was hoping there'd be an easier way, oh well trim them down it is, will see if this works. I only have the one naish kite anyways so won't affect any other kites. Thanks Idiot

Just extend the front lines, or the smart loop line, and you will have more power and speed. However, you don't need 25m lines on a 10.5m kite. I've been flying a 6m and a 9m. They are not the fastest, but certainly not slow. Otherwise, I would be in trouble on the waves. The 10.5m can be fast at 20+kn wind for a heavier rider.
