gday all, i currently ride a 09 switchblade 8m with twintip and am looking at getting a second kite. Somewhere around the 10/11m
Im after a kite which is a little easier to park than the switchy and am thinking the crossbow, havnt flown one but have observed a few and seen that they seemed to park and hold easily.
Just wondering what peoples opinions are regarding the crossbow and even a comparison between the switchy and crossbow if anyone has ridden both.
Im assuming the bigger size would make parking the kite easier also. Perhaps even stick with the switch just get one in the 10???
or change brands :P

I fly an 11m crossbow IDS,love it.
I am 80kg on a twinny,covers wind for me from 14-15knots to around 25-26knots.
But I guess that wind range would also depend on your ability.
Very stable kite to fly, handles gusts well,my opinion is I dont think you would be unhappy with it.Very easy to park and ride if thats your thing. That is the only thing that I dont like about the kite(easy to park in one spot and ride)because as much as I like consintrating on my riding,I realy like flying the kite hard as well.
Give one a go,well made robust kite too.
cheers

i ride a 10m switchblade and love it, super stable, awesome unhooking, and very responsive when you want it too be :) i would almost go as far to say its the best kite it the whole range. Just my two cents worth :)

I have the 13m and 10m Crossbow IDS and a switchy 8m, weighing in at 80kg I love the 10m best kite I have owned, probably only used the 8m a couple of times since getting the 10m as it has such a huge range (18 to 28 knts maybe)
