The 'standard' is 80kg rider = 12m kite for 'most' wind conditions. 10kg per 1m^2 would therefore make a 10m kite reasonable for you.

When i say most i mean ~15-25 knots which is what most of the winds around Port Phillip Bay are. Of course your going to get the odd day when the seabreeze is just a weak 10-15 knots in which case you may struggle, on the other end if a front comes in and it's a nuking 30+ knot wind then again you may struggle.

If you were to go an 11/12m kite you'd get better low end but lose out on top end. If you went with a 8/9 you'd get better top end but lose out on low wind use. It's a tightrope; a f'n tightrope... unless of course you feel like having a 2 kite quiver in which case it's easy. 8-9 & 12-13!
