Just wandering if anyone can helpout with a leading edge for a 04 / 05 slingy fuel, my nephew has been trying to repair his and hasn't had much success, unfortunately the valves in that model had a problem coming unstuck which is a shame as the kite is still like new. To replace all the valves will cost about $280 (probably more than its worth ), also cant get hold of new leading edges for that year any more.
Even if someone has a kite thats been damaged but still pumps up ok may help.

chat with Andy or Dave at www.slingshotkiteboarding.com.au they will be able to help you as they are the importers for slingshot in oz they are based in newcastle in NSW. and choice kitesurfing in freo is the slingshot dealer in perth. between all of them you should be able to get something to get you back on the water.

Its just not the leading edge it is the struts as well. The problem with the 04 batch was that the valves were faulty on a lot of kites that got distributed here in Oz. I had 3 04's and had to replace all the bladders. It might be worth getting an updated second hand kite, they are ridiculously cheap these days. Otherwise talk to Andy at Windgenuity they might look after you with a new bladder kit.
