Hey have to brag here, were we the only Perth location to get that beautiful southerly yesterday??
Could not believe my eyes when I pulled up at Quinns Beach (it was 15 knots SE at the top of Quinns rd) to see the car park getting sand blasted by a howling 30 knot southerly!!
Anyway had a great Kite for about an hour. The wind finally turned SE and dropped to 18 knots we quickly made it back to the beach with our 8m kites.
Won’t forget this one!!
Come on seabreeze, we need records for Quinns also...? Perth is missing out...!

I wouldn't be posting "HOW GOOD MY LOCAL SPOT IS" and then telling everyone.

Actually, that gives me an idea:

All euro-travellers, QUINNS beach is the GREATEST SPOT IN PERTH, everyone go there.

cheers munga. Makes my local that much quieter!

Meerkat, you selfish B_____d, hardly within the spirit of the sport.

There is plenty of water for everyone... particularly yesterday when the whole of Perth missed out (including you pussycat), come on out... all welcome...!

Hey Munga
I have been kiting at quinns for the last three years and what you described would be a very rare occasion . I too get grumpy when there is more than five people on the water.
So lets not invite everyone up.If you like company on the water I here pinaroo is a good spot
