kyteryder - going by what I've written in the guidelines you're on the money .. I've have been meaning to update the text for a while!

Airborne are a great supporter of seabreeze.com.au and spirit behind the 'no commerical advertising' policy is to a) ensure a "level playing field" for the sponsors and b) keep the forums a good read not interrupted by heaps of adverts .. a kind of "fair go" policy.

It's not such a bad thing to get product announcements and moves are afoot this summer to make the news section of the site far more 'alive' to support this kind of announcement, because a lot of folks are interested when the new kit arrives.

If Ian & crew were to post this kind of info every day, then it would get a bit painful!

Hope that helps explain - write here or send me an email via the "Feedback" link on the graphs page if you'd like!

Enjoy .. Laurie

Rather have a kn "advertorial" where there is an acknowledgement it is an add (like the original post) than other so called product reviews where the true interest is not declared.

Anyway, up to Loz to kn police.

Far more irritating posts kn here than this one.
