kyteryder - going by what I've written in the guidelines you're on the money .. I've have been meaning to update the text for a while!
Airborne are a great supporter of seabreeze.com.au and
spirit behind the 'no commerical advertising' policy is to a) ensure a "level playing field" for the sponsors and b) keep the forums a good read not interrupted by heaps of adverts .. a kind of "fair go" policy.
It's not such a bad thing to get product announcements and moves are afoot this summer to make the news section of the site far more 'alive' to support this kind of announcement, because a lot of folks are interested when the new kit arrives.
If Ian & crew were to post this kind of info every day, then it would get a bit painful!
