Nice post Joe Millen/Kiteharder/ARSA, it such a shame you have to go to these lenthgs to promote your kite brand. It is obvious from your previuos posts who you are. Actually i can rememeber someone else already bringing this to light, on the "Santa bring me a best " topic you started.

You should just be upfront bro!!!

WTF, dude you have no idea. Joe is a good mate of mine and I have promoted his store and the BEST products as that is what I am currently riding. He has helped many people out in Mackay, getting them started including me and I do the occasional weekend work for him in his store. You going to the Wave Nationals, cause at this stage I am going and would like to meet up. Let me know bro

This is what amazes me (even though I am "funny", "funniest" or whatever):
Out of 9 (nine) posts on the thread, only one is giving some info about the competition.
The rest is ... nothing to do with the subject.
It looks like some of us, treat their equipment like some kinda girlfriends or else: don’t look or say anything about it 'cause I am sensitive mate!!!
Anyway, not that I am intending to go so far, to Sunshine Coast, nor even to enter a Wave Riding competition, I cannot compete with any of you guys, but I would like to know more about the Wave-Riding Nationals.
Can anyone post some info? Maybe a website?

Hey Silviu,

They could tell you, ......... but then they would have to kill you[}:)]

It's a big secret, so secret that even the organisers don't know anything about it. The secret fellowship of the wavewarriors (worriers). If you set yourself up into a camouflaged watching position in the sand dunes, if you are really lucky on a good day with some swell, you may get to witness the secret handshake between these rather elusive creatures as they exit the waves.

But seriously, to my knowledge the only info is it is on in Queensland, possibly Kawana. It is on from the dates of April 8th through to 12th or 13th and Best is allegedly a sponsor of some type. The only thing certain is that I will not be there The bright side is that now someone else can win

Good winds,

Pretty much all the info you need is on www.aksa.com.au

Info about the Wave Nats that is, not about the brands....

Cheers
