Hi guys, I just bought a 2009 Havoc12 just because of the reviews I've read. The low end is terible,anything below 20knt is a struggle. I'm 87kg. The dealer said it is a design misteake and he sent me 390mm pigtails to replace the 410mm ones from the kite, no instructions with. Does anybody knows this problem and where the 410mm pigtail is?
Have not heard of such a problem with any of the Havocs we received. Certainly no need for any tuning whatsoever, so not sure what is wrong with yours. Was it brand new? Even the prototypes we got was near perfection. If there is a local guy with another Havoc, put yours side by side to them and see if any of the lines are set up differently. The Havoc has tons of lower grunt.
Im assuming you have atleast connected the lines to the knot closest to the kite...and tried that adjusting your trim so its not backstalling. You should be able to take it out in under 15knotts..
