We can definitely close the winter season now in WA with the warmer days and wind coming soon. Here is the edit of our 2014 Snowkite trip in New Zealand. lighter wind than last year and patchy snow coverage pushed us to find new spots and walk heaps ... but we got some pretty good time. That looks like a lot of fun, dare say that it has some serious danger issues associated with it too.
Do you have to kite in areas that are away from the general population and other skiers??
Perhaps one day....

Hi Squidink,

Yes you have to kite out of ski fields boundaries. So most of the time it's back country area.
As you say, it's a lot of fun but you have to be prepared and it takes time to get the level to climb those summit...

it allso takes alot of time to boil maple syrup :D nice video ben
