Hi guys , got brand new compstick 2014.
Fixed all 4 lines to a fixed point by the loops at the end of the lines , excluding the pig tail attachments.

I put bar on full power and pulled it all the way in , the steering lines are very very slack , they droop by about 50cm , am I doing something wrong or it this new bar badly out of tune .

It's never been attached to a kite

Cheers guys

From experience they are ready to go straight from the factory. Attach them on the end of all
pigtails. Quality control is 10/10 so they are correct. I only have 4 odd compstick bars and they
are the shizzle if you like that kind of gear.

have you taken lines of on the correct pigtaill join?, it is possible to do it incorrectly. check your new bar against the one you normally use and you may find the problem.

Bar is way out of tune. Pigtail lengths are only different on the kite not the bar.

That's what I thought , I took the pigtails off and ran all loops through my leash cleat .

All four lines are no where near the same lenghts when pulled in

All my other bars have been fine.

I have sent a message to slingshot uk distributer .

I'll await there response

Cheers guys
