20 knots for a big air contest sounds pretty low but I guess you get what you get. What are the winds like up there during that time of the year?
What the F? Merimbula Classic if Runs will be on weekend of 21 st It's hard enough to run events and have these two conflicting Merimbula for me
We are not trying to compete with Merimbula at all, the event has run for the last two years in winds from 20-30 knots.
The event is limited to 30 riders and had been full on both occasions.
The BBA has a holding period so it may not be on the same weekend at all.
Not sure why you seem to be upset about it as you're based in Vic, I'm sure you would not even think of traveling up to Qld for a local event.

25knots on larger kite is fine for every day kiters.
We are not trying to replicate the KOTA or the Mega loop comp.
We created the event for local/ amateurs to have fun and hang with others.
It's not all about being the best just enjoying themselves.

Last year we had 25- 30 knots for the final.
