Pretty amazing to see a 3 year old kid kitesurfing much better than many other adults I see in the water!

awesome! that is something you don't see everyday. I wouldn't trust my 3 year old in that situation. At that age putting that kid on a "proper kite" with a harness would be irresponsible. Having the kid kite with a trainer that he can simply let go of is the only safe approach. Also only kiting in water that is no deeper than his waist.

Dad has found a safe set-up that gets his toddler into kiting, the man is a genius. Practising handle-passes at three, what will he be doing as a ten year old?

Not to take anything away from this awesome achievement - very cool - but there is no way that kid is 3 yrs old.
Anyone with a 3 year old would know that. He just doesnt have the proportions of a toddler - by a long shot.

At 3 1/2yrs he will be pro, at 4yrs he will have "completed kiteboarding" and at 5yrs everyone will have forgot who he even was...

p.s. I'm also very doubtful he's 3 and if he is he should apply for worlds biggest 3yr old record.

ummm, yeah ....
and I'm going to teach my 10 year old how to drive Touring Cars
please donate to my , sorry His fund so I can buy me, sorry Him an HSV Commodore
I'd like it in red, I mean He likes red ones.

SO he's obviously at least 5, which is still pretty amazing
but don't lie to us about it and then ask for cash!!!

And at this stage that's a vid of a kid looping a stunt kite while being dragged straight downwind on a surf board, not exactly "kite-surfing" , but I hope he sticks with it, has fun and doesn't get hurt.

That is cool

But if he is only three, by the time he's 10 he will be 9ft tall and have ditched kiting for basketball

Good one kid, still pretty coordinated for that young

I agree with you boys. No way that kid is 3. Regardless, the little dude is doing really well - respect.

I have a threenager myself, no matter what his skills are like with a stunt/trainer kite, I won't be letting him loose on a kite in open water until he is a strong swimmer.

BTW: How many 3 year old's have you guys seen that can swim?

my 3 year old daughter can swim about 10m unassisted, but she is better than most groms her age. There is no way I would let her out of arms reach in open water.
