Hi All
I have a quiver of Cab co2 and have used them since 2003. Have been off the water for about 6 months, new baby, new house, work commitments, and am know back on the water.
First session this week and thought it prudent to check QRS, suprise suprise no reaction to pull under load. A new QRS is in order. What is my best bet as a replacement? No 5th line anchor point to speak of so that is not really an option.
Am happy with kites, don't want to change, but need to have some confidence in QRS. Please help

Hi CB,
I've changed my chickenloop over to the slingshot lock and load model, it has a built in quick release that seems very reliable. I don't know if it would suit your bar but you should be able to adapt it. It is a very well engineered item and is lasting well.
Any shop should be able to get one, you would just need the basic one without the cleats. Have a look at http://slingshotkiteboarding.com/products.cfm?id=84
I don't have slingshot kites but I thought this was a great quick release/chicken loop.

i agree with gav, the slingy release is nice, however the 2003 cab recon bars have a wierd QR / chicken line setup that will not make it real easy to use the slingy loop, it might be a good idea to just get the slingshot surefire spreader bar... super reliable in my experience.

Thanks for the advice
